ContentBuilding on their own experiences and expectations of appraisals delegates will begin to explore the real purpose of appraisals, common pitfalls and the techniques and approaches that can be used to enhance appraisal effectiveness. This will include, reviewing past performance, the setting of targets and objectives, together with approaches and techniques to link appraisals to business planning and performance review and continued professional development. The workshop will also explore the use of less frequently used appraisal systems such as 360 degree appraisals. The workshop will look at ways to positively manage the interactions that occur within the appraisal process.
