PTLLS / CTLLS / DTLLS

PTLLS is the entry level or initial preparation to teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, while CTLLS is the next step after PTLLS.

General Professional Recognition Learning and Skills (England)

NVQs Level 3 & Level 4 – Learning & Development

NTRL are accredited by OCR to deliver Level 3 & Level 4 Learning and Development NVQs using the Learning Leaders' methodology.

Other Qualifications - Certificates (cluster of NVQ Units)

The ATLS status can sometimes be achieved by topping-up existing Learning and Development NVQs to achieve the status.

Continuous Professional Development

There is also a requirement for registration and 30 hours CPD for each year logged and recorded by the Institute for Learning (IfL), for all relevant staff in the sector.
