PTLLS / CTLLS / DTLLS
PTLLS is the entry level or initial preparation to teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, while CTLLS is the next step after PTLLS.
QCF Qualifications for Assessor and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)
NTRL Qualifications Division is now delivering the new Assessor and Internal Quality Assurance qualifications (QCF listed) which are vital to maintain currency of practice.
QCF Awards for Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector
- Award in English for Literacy and Language Teaching – Level 3
- Award in Mathematics for Numeracy Teaching – Level 3
These awards provide up-to-date evidence of personal skills in English/Mathematics for teachers and trainers about to enter a teacher training programme or those who will support Functional Skills English and Mathematics learners
NVQs Level 3 & Level 4 – Learning & Development
NTRL are accredited by OCR to deliver Level 3 & Level 4 Learning and Development NVQs using the Learning Leaders' methodology.
Continuous Professional Development
There is also a requirement for registration and 30 hours CPD for each year logged and recorded by the Institute for Learning (IfL), for all relevant staff in the sector.
