About Managing Training and Development
What do we mean by “Managing Training and Development”? This covers all those strategic and day to day management and coordination activities undertaken by employers to train and develop their staff. It especially includes those activities which allow employers to evaluate the impact of the training delivered and enable the assessment of return on investment of training interventions.
National Training Resources Ltd is a significant provider of staff development, continued professional development, quality improvement and organisational development support in the adult training, teaching and learning sector. This is sometimes called the post 16 or life long learning sector. This provision and support services have been supplied for the last 16 years and include those areas where training, development and learning are delivered within employers, training companies and FE colleges whether or not the programmes are funded by employers or the Government.
The Managing Training and Development division focuses on supporting the improvement of training and development provided to or within employers. This is done by one day events, short courses and longer programmes which enable Training Managers and other internal training staff to hone their knowledge and skills in the management, procurement or delivery of training. Not only can we provide detailed high quality Train the Trainer courses with or without accredited qualifications but we can also brief managers on the inside knowledge and key questions on how to buy training and judge its quality.
We have the experience and resources to provide high quality, effective and value for money solutions to most organisational development needs relating to training, development of management of learning.
