Funding Workshop - Introduction to Government Funding

Overview

With cuts and administrative changes, many organisations are finding it increasingly difficult to access traditional sources of funding (e.g. ESF). The UK government has a responsibility to replace the gap, with localised, regional and nationwide funding programmes. This one-day workshop explores the types of GRANT FUNDING available from Central & Local Government, the typical activities supported and advice on how to complete a successful proposal

Content

The aim of this workshop is to raise awareness of the potential of UK Government Funding and the types of activity supported by the various Departments at both Central and Local level.  Through a combination of presentations, group discussions and exercises, delegates will leave with a better knowledge of the key programmes, the outcomes they are seeking to achieve and how to find out about the latest initiatives.  Using their experience as a bid writer, the facilitator will offer important tips on how to write a successful application.
