Overview

Many Practitioners feel they aren’t quite there with delivering, assessing and quality assuring QCF qualifications, yet carry on regardless because of time and resource pressures.

They are expected to know everything yet can’t get clarification from those who should have the answers.

They need reliable support and advice. Does this sound like you?

Many practitioners have attended information-giving events and know what’s in the QCF but have difficulty identifying implications for assessors and internal quality assurers (IQAs), and practical ways of implementing changes to practice.

This user-friendly course is for all those with responsibility for delivering, assessing and quality assuring qualifications in the QCF. It will help you to understand the language of the QCF - how the qualifications are structured, the terminology used, and the approaches to assessing and internal quality assurance. The course uses the new qualifications for assessors and IQAs as a vehicle for demonstrating QCF principles and practice.

By the end of this event, you will be able to:

  • Explain key QCF terminology and the implications for practice
  • Explain the new qualifications for assessors and IQAs and who should do which
