Funding for Youth Development through the Youth in Action Programme - 1 Day Course

Overview

Do you or your organisation work with young people aged 13-30 years old?  Are you responsible for delivering activities or informal learning for young people?  The Youth in Action Programme aims to respond to the needs of young people from adolescence to adulthood and is a major funder of youth-related activities.

With an annual budget of €125 million, the Youth In Action programme funds placements, visits and exchanges both within Europe and beyond, with a focus on non-formal learning opportunities, intercultural dialogue, the employability of young people and activities designed to foster their social inclusion.

In particular, the programme provides funding for activities designed to: promote active citizenship; develop solidarity & tolerance; foster mutual understanding; improve the quality of youth activities & support systems; and promote European co-operation in the field of youth work.
