Overview

Millions of people ‘Google’ for information every day. With several hundred thousand results available for each search only those appearing on Page One of Google are likely to be visited. Many websites never appear in the searches and consequently suffer from a lack of visitors.

Getting on Page One of Google is however much easier than you might imagine and our facilitator will show you how to use free software such as Google Analytics and low cost advertising via Google Adwords to get on to Page One of Google and many other search engines.

This event is designed for those with limited technical skills - you don’t have to be a web designer or need to be able to write computer code.  The techniques demonstrated are practical and easy to replicate. Real examples will be used to demonstrate how the presenter uses the techniques covered to obtain traffic on his, and his clients’ websites and how you can quickly use the same ideas yourself for just a few pence.

Our facilitator is an experienced businessman who has held a number of senior marketing positions in a variety of companies, and who has run companies large and small. He has a proven track record of building and growing online clicks & bricks businesses.

He ran a £50m mail order business where £8m of sales came from the company’s website. The business had 80,000 customers and shipped around a million orders per year. He has also taken early stage companies from the initial product prototype to profitability, building sales channels, distributor networks and strategic relationships in the process.

He currently has an eCommerce business which consists of a number of websites which are growing through a combination of search engine optimisation, Google Adwords and other marketing tools. He also advises a number of companies on how to build their Adwords campaigns, how to use Google Analytics to understand what their customers and potential customers are doing, and how to improve their search engine optimisation.
