Writing WINNING Tenders - plus Online Follow-up Workshop (WS5825)Thursday, 15th November 2012, Birmingham City Centre Online Follow-up Session: Friday 11th January 2013 Overview‘’Writing Winning Tenders” is an essential workshop for any organisation responding to government to provide goods and services. The course delivers the skills, knowledge and information you will need to write effective and successful winning tenders. This workshop balances information and guidance with a range of interactive and participative exercises that aim to up skill and refocus staff on the new funding landscape and its many opportunities. It will include exploration of systems management along with tools and resources that can assess your readiness to tender and negotiate from pre-qualification questionnaires [PQQs] to invitations to tender [ITT]. We will also look at successful contract negotiation and compliance issues. Free Online Follow-up SessionThis workshop includes a free of charge linked 1 hour online session. The online session will be delivered through our Virtual Classroom using the Webex platform. The purpose for the online event is for delegates and the facilitator to meet again to cover some extra content, ask any questions that may have arisen since the training, and to reinforce the learning following the 1 day workshop. Linked online sessions are pre-scheduled and take place 2 to 5 weeks after the date of the open workshop. Previously, he was head of external projects at Greenwich Community College and was a Senior Lecturer in Post-Compulsory Education and Training at the University of Greenwich. Until recently, he was Deputy Director at London Voluntary Sector Training Consortium, responsible for third sector access to the structural funds and has held directorships in the private training sector as an NCVO approved consultant. He has worked closely with the LSC, London Councils, DWP, LDA and has scored bids for GOL in his varied career. He has also represented the voluntary sector on Moderation Panels for the CFOs from 2002 - 2007, and was a member of the Support and Advisory Group [SAG] to Government Office in the last programme. He has also been a board member at the London Open College Network and Lewisham College FE. Our Facilitator is an associate of the Institute of Fundraising and an approved and registered consultant with NCVO and NACVA.
