New Organisational Structures for Non-profit Making Organisations (WS5718)Thursday, 6th September 2012, London Victoria OverviewThis Work Shop will inform delegates on a range of organisational structures that can be developed or utilised for non-profit making organisations or partnerships. With the advent of public spending cuts, new funding models and the Big Society and Localism agenda; many organisations are seeking to develop new or additional forms of organisational structure, to access new funding or develop projects. These structures can be developed by new or existing organisations. These structures can be used to access new funding opportunities or to manage or ‘hive off’ existing projects. Organisations such as schools, FE colleges, community groups and housing associations are seeking to adapt and develop such new structures to help them develop ‘Big Society’ projects or to develop new partnership vehicles for programme like the Work Programme. He is an approved consultant for the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) and previously a visiting lecturer/ research associate at the University of Central Lancashire in Community Regeneration and Health, in the Health & Ethnicity Unit.
