Overview

If there are over 300 different grants available – what are they and are they suitable for my organisation? This one day workshop will examine some of the more common funds – European and UK - and provide guidance on the routes to access and their role and purpose within your organisation.

Content

The aim of the workshop is to review a selection of the different types of public and charitable funds available to organisations engaged in community regeneration activities. 

Through presentations and group discussion, the facilitators will illustrate how public and charitable funding functions; which funds are typically accessing and for what purpose and “best guess” the future objectives of the main funders, including Europe.

The workshop will cover:

• The key differences of funding streams and how external funding can support the work of organisations
• Capacity building – a healthcheck of organisational readiness for the management of funding
• Funding sources for voluntary and community organisations – grants, Trusts and Charities
• European Funding – overviewing the Structural Funds and Transnational Programmes
• Funding priorities – the targeting of external funding
• Sources of information

Who Should Attend?

Project/Funding Managers from: Training Providers, LSC’s, HE & FE institutions, Universities, Chambers of Commerce, European Officers in Local Authorities, Business Links, staff from Careers Service/Connexions, Regional Development Agencies.  Government Offices, NHS Trusts, Voluntary and Charitable organsiations and others with the responsibility for managing Structural Fund projects.

Venue details and travel information will be included in your confirmation email. If the venue has not been confirmed at the time of booking, then the information will be emailed to you closer to the event.

Booking & Confirmation

Bookings will only be accepted on receipt of full payment PRIOR to the event via cheque, BACS or credit card.  Cheques to be made payable to ‘National Training Resources Limited’.

All reservations will be confirmed by email within two days of receipt of your completed booking form and payment in full and will include venue details and times.

Delegate substitutions can be made at any time.  We reserve the right to cancel or alter the event at any time.
