Good Practice in Project Design & Bid Writing Skills (3013)Thursday, 22nd April 2010, Leeds, City Centre OverviewDesigning a good project is the basis of any project application. This workshop looks at project design from the perspective of need identification through to project proposal stage and will be suitable for any organisation seeking to tender or bid for external funding. The workshop covers the role of sound objective setting and activity leading to outcome achievement emphasising the relevance between your project idea and the commissioning document, (giving you the best possible chance of success at selection stage and subsequent delivery!). ContentDesigning projects, especially those funded through the Objective, 2 and 3 Programmes can be complex taking into account regional, local and individual needs. Whilst much of the jargon has been removed from the Co-financing route, CFOs still look for clearly articulated project content, aimed at addressing the priorities of the Commissioning document. Whether the project is at strategic or individual level, the process of good project design is essential when it comes to writing effective funding bids. This one-day workshop is aimed at all organisations involved in the Structural Fund Programmes either through co-financing routes or as direct applicants to Government Offices and will be suitable for delegates who are new to the subject area or wish to improve their own, or their organisation’s, expertise. The workshop will cover:
Who Should Attend?Project/Funding Managers from; training providers, LSC’s, FE Colleges, Universities, Chamber of Commerce, European Officers/Project Managers in Local Authorities, Business Links, Connexions, the Employment Service, Regional Development Agencies and other staff with the responsibility for managing or providing advice on European funded projects.
