Training Workshops on Your Premises

Most of our workshops can be delivered on your premises or at a venue close to you. This approach is favoured by many of our clients as it provides a high quality and value-for-money staff development route.

By running workshops internally, content can be tailored to local needs Staff can be encouraged to share ideas, then agree development plans and implementation plans that are owned by them and consequently have the best chance of delivering results.

In many cases the cost per person works out significantly lower than our open events too, especially when delegate travel-time costs and convenience are factored in.

Indicative Costs and Logistics


Our pricing is very simple and easy to understand.  We quote a fixed price, plus expenses and VAT.  We do not normally charge for travel time or preparation time.

For a 1 day course our normal fee is £1,850, plus out of pocket expenses (travel and subsistence) and VAT. For a 2 day course, we have a 50% discount for the second day.  So the total cost would be £2,775, plus out of pocket expenses and VAT.

The fees are quoted on the basis that you will provide the venue and the refreshments, plus the basic equipment such as the data projector, with a link to our laptop, and a flip chart or white board

Discounts are available for consecutive dates, multiple events and/or longer term programmes.

Content Adjustment and Bespoke Courses

We can, in most cases, design bespoke workshops and courses or adapt existing workshops to meet your more precise needs.  For a quote please contact us with details of your specific requirements.

Delegate Numbers and Room Layout

The maximum recommended number of delegates for our workshops is 18. Most of our workshops are interactive participative learning experiences and work best with lower numbers, ideally 10-14. It is sometimes possible to work with slightly larger group sizes, but this is dependent on subject matter and the extent to which we can replace participative learning with lecture style presentation.

The preferred room layout is cabaret with 3-5 delegates per table. All delegates will need a clear view to the screen and have a desk high table to rest materials on. Classroom/lecture styles set ups do not work well with our workshops.

What is included?

The indicative prices are for our pre-developed one or two day workshops, delivered at your premises or at a venue of your choice. Costs include trainer travel time, but exclude out of pocket expenses for travel, subsistence and accommodation. Costs also incude delegate handout packs, registers, feedback summaries and issue of electronic CPD certificates.

Delegate Details, Feedback Analysis and CPD Certificates

We ask that the client supplies details of delegate names and positions in advance. We use this information to tailor content to the audience and to produce a register. The latter is then used to produce the CPD certificates.

Where NTRL Events delegate workshop evaluation forms are completed and returned to us, usually via the presenter on the day, we will provide a summary of the feedback, copies of the base forms and CPD certificates by email after the event.

Supply of Event Materials

We usually ship materials direct to a named contact at the delivery venue a few days prior to the workshop and then check arrival. Materials are usually a small pack which we ask to be passed to the presenter unopened. This is organised by our print and dispatch team, but it would be helpful if you could let us know who they should liaise with regarding confirmation of final numbers, shipping of materials and the contact address/phone number applicable.

Invoicing and Cancellations

  • Prices quoted exclude VAT, which will be added at the current rate applicable, except where exemption is evidenced by HM Revenue and Customs.
  • Payment terms are upon receipt of the invoice. The deposit invoice for £300 will be raised within 3 working days of the initial booking, The balance of the course fee will be invoiced on the day of the course, whilst the out of pocket expenses will be invoiced within 5 working days of the course date booking, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Once the workshop is booked the following cancellations charges would apply. Where charges are quoted and agreed for additional preparation, these would also be added in full to the costs below. 
    • More than 9 weeks prior to the workshop delivery date - £300 + vat
    • 6 to 4 weeks prior to the workshop delivery date - £500 + vat
    • 4 weeks or less prior to the workshop delivery date - the full price

NTRL Events reserve the right to cancel any delivery agreement in the event of a client having unpaid and overdue invoices outstanding.


The Presenter of this workshop is under contract to NTRL Events. The materials used are the intellectual property of NTRL Events, All enquires for additional training or consultancy should be made via our offices, to ensure that the copyright, intellectual property or contractual restrictions are not breached.
