NTRL has a long history of competence and experience in the provision of services related to European Structural Fund projects (ERDF, ESF/Co-financing, Interreg), their project management, bid information and dissemination. As an organisation, we have provided a wide range of development events focusing on the UK Programmes for a number of years and these are regarded by many European programme and project teams as a critical need for their staff development. Topics covered have ranged from project design and application, selection and appraisal, programme/project management, monitoring and record keeping, compliance inspection, financial management and claims and project closure.
Our MasterClasses now encompass the European Transnational Programmes, such as Leonardo da Vinci (Vocational Training) and Grundtvig (Adult Education) for providers that are looking to extend their remit by working in partnership with organisations based overseas. These events offer an introduction to the application process (including an explanation of the assessment criteria), managing a transnational partnership, good practice in evaluation and dissemination techniques and preparing interim and final reports.

UK Funding
WorkShops
|
Launched in 2006, our range of UK Funding WorkShops covers the principal sources of UK based (as distinct from European) funding. This group of Workshops which covers Lottery Funding, Government Funding, Charitable Trusts and Foundations reviews some of the typical activities that can be supported and offers practical advice on developing projects from an initial idea, through to delivering the activities and managing your partnership.
The series explores the huge potential of UK Funding, a review of the types of project that can be funded, important tips on how to apply and best practice guidance in terms of project management. Sessions also cover essential bid writing techniques and refer to the facilitator’s experience as an assessor, demonstrating how to satisfy the funding criteria and improve the success rates of your applications, proposals and tenders.
