Dr Ian Finlay - Speaker Profile

 

Ian Finlay taught for ten years in further education before joining Jordanhill College of Education in 1990 and the University of Strathclyde in 1993. His main teaching and research interest is in the sociology of education with specific focuses on education policy, social theories of learning, and the education of marginalised young people and adults.
