Ian Pryce
Principal and Chief Executive, Bedford College;

Ian Pryce has been Principal and Chief Executive of Bedford College since 1998, having joined the College in 1996 as Finance Director.
He was previously a regional Finance Director at the Further Education Funding Council and has also worked as a Director or Senior Manager in retail, electricity generation and local government in Liverpool, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Northamptonshire. He is a member of the Institute of Directors, the accountancy body CIPFA, a member of the CBI Regional Council, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Councillor of City & Guilds
Mark Kaczmarek
Deputy Director, FE Performance and Quality
Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS)
Mark Kaczmarek is currently leading on the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills responsibilities for Framework for Excellence and the new Quality Assurance Framework that will be in place from April 2010.
Richard Williams
Head of the Data Service
Having over 20 years of experience within the energy industry and accumulating a wealth of experience including change management, information services and project management, Richard Williams joined the Data Service on 1st July 2008.
Rich Williams is the Head of the Data Service. The Data Service is funded by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and is the single, central point of information for further education. It manages the collection, transformation and dissemination of all further education data. It will offer dedicated support for customers which includes account management; a central help desk; and training for providers. In its formative stages, the Data Service is being supported by the Learning and Skills Council. By 2011 it will have evolved into an independent organisation acting in the interests of the further education sector as a whole.
Since joining the Data Service, Richard has successfully launched the Data Service. It will be fully operational by April 2010, working to meet the data needs of FE providers.

Mike Davis
HMI, Ofsted
Mike Davis HMI has worked for 10 years as a full-time inspector for Ofsted, the ALI and the FEFC. He is a mathematics graduate and previously worked as a teacher, trainer and manager for over 20 years, in both FE and schools. His management roles included Vice Principal in one of the largest FE colleges in South East England. His teaching experience covers a wide range of Mathematics and ICT courses from Entry Level to Higher Education. Different types of inspection include Colleges (sixth form and GFE), Work-Based Learning, Jobcentre Plus, Learndirect, Adult and Community Learning, Army and Area-Wide inspections.
Besides inspecting, Mike has led on a range of inspection-related data developments, including in working with the LSC on New Measures of Success, Framework for Excellence and success rate harmonisation.
