National Training Resources Limited (NTRL) was established in 1993 to 'Put National back into Training'. We do this by providing a wide range of advisory, information and support services to training organisations, agencies and corporate training departments in industry, commerce and the public sector throughout the United Kingdom. The team has a special blend of expertise and experience within the training and development business, underpinned by a professional approach focused on service to our clients.
The UK training industry is fragmented into some 5,000 companies providing contracted training to LSCs and other agencies on a local basis with a further 7,000 involved in other vocational training. We are in a unique position, providing a focal point for services, communications and representation within this network.
Robert is joint founding director of National Training Resources after 25 years in manufacturing and with considerable involvement in the Engineering Industry Training and Group Training Schemes which led to being a founding member of ALP (now AELP). He was awarded the MBE for services to training.
Joint founding director of National Training Resources, Jon had been involved in training for some 24 years previously as chairman and board member of Fylde Training. With a broad knowledge of government and EU funding policies, he has been involved with the design and implementation of some conceptual programmes for SME managers and employee development models. He is a board member of the Information Authority, a member of the Data Service Steering Group and a member of the FE workforce development stakeholder group - this being a group feeding back to BIS and LSIS on the issues and impact of teaching and training staff qualification regulations in the wider FE sector including Skills.
Ian has many years experience at running training events for the learning sector. He runs Excellence in Learning's programme of workshops on improving and implementing quality and staff development.
Peter joined us in 2008 with marketing and retail experience
Andrew has previously worked for an e-Learning development organisation and in the Schools Broadband Network team of a borough council.
